All times Pacific. No timed-entry slots. Arrive from your ticket's eligible entry time onward and stay until closing. General admission is valid for the day selected.

Adults ages 13+: $20 + $2 ticket fee
Children ages 4–12: $15 + $2 ticket fee
Ages 3 and under: Free admission; a complimentary ticket is required for attendance and capacity counts.

Two-day VIP
Adults: $75 + $4 ticket fee • Children ages 4–12: $60 + $4 ticket fee
Includes admission both days, one-hour early entry each day, a shirt, tote bag, and VIP lanyard. Select your shirt size when reserving.

Advance ticket sales close March 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM Pacific. Walk-in tickets are sold at the event box office after the walk-in purchase times listed above.

A LITTLE EXTRA EASTER MAGIC

Sunday Easter Egg Hunt • March 28

Add an egg hunt to your day of bugs, plants, and discovery. Complimentary reservations open November 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM Pacific.

12:00 PM: Ages 3–5 • 275 children
1:45 PM: Ages 6–8 • 300 children
3:30 PM: Ages 9–12 • 250 children

Valid Sunday BUGTOPIA admission is separately required. An egg-hunt reservation does not provide entry to the expo. Capacity is limited; reserve one session per child in the correct age group. Families with children in different age groups must reserve the appropriate session for each child.

Ages 3–5 may have one accompanying adult. Adults cannot collect eggs. Children age 2 and under do not participate in the running hunt; small toddler egg bags may be available at the event while supplies last.

Refund Terms

All ticket sales are final except when BUGTOPIA cancels, postpones, or reschedules the event, when BUGTOPIA cannot admit a valid ticket holder because of event capacity or organizer error, or when a refund is otherwise required by law. No refunds are provided for a change of plans, illness, travel or parking delays, weather, failure to attend, arriving after the event closes, or removal for violating event rules. Advance general-admission tickets are valid for the selected day from 10:00 AM Saturday or 11:00 AM Sunday. No timed-entry reservation or arrival window is required. VIP entry begins at 9:00 AM Saturday and 10:00 AM Sunday. Walk-in tickets are available for purchase after 11:00 AM Saturday and after 12:00 PM Sunday. Once admitted, guests may stay until closing. Ticket corrections or transfer requests must be submitted to [email protected] before the event and are subject to availability. Optional purchase-protection fees and third-party purchases are governed by their providers.

BUGTOPIA Attendee Release & Event Rules

BUGTOPIA is committed to a safe, educational, and enjoyable event. By attending, I agree for myself and any minor in my care to the following:

1. I will follow posted rules and instructions from BUGTOPIA, venue, security, vendors, and exhibitors. Unsafe, disruptive, harassing, or illegal conduct may result in removal without refund. Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult.

2. Guests may not bring live animals, insects, plants, or biological specimens into the event unless they are approved vendors or exhibitors. Service animals are permitted as required by law. Pets and emotional-support animals that do not qualify as service animals are not permitted.

3. I will not touch animals, insects, plants, displays, merchandise, or enclosures without permission. Releasing organisms, unauthorized selling or trading, tampering with enclosures, and entering restricted areas are prohibited.

4. I understand that a public expo may involve crowds, live organisms, natural-history specimens, plants, allergens, uneven surfaces, and the possibility of bites, stings, scratches, or other injury. I voluntarily accept the ordinary risks of attendance and agree to supervise minors and disclose relevant allergies or access needs to event staff when appropriate.

5. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release BUGTOPIA, its organizers, the venue, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, contractors, employees, and volunteers from claims arising from the ordinary risks of attendance, except claims that cannot legally be waived, including those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Photography and video may occur at the event. I consent to incidental capture of myself and minors in my care and to BUGTOPIA using event images for news, documentation, and promotion, to the extent permitted by law. Guests with privacy concerns may contact event staff.
